Taylor’s University was once again named the sole Gold award winner in the Education and Learning category, for the seventh consecutive year at the 2016 Putra Brand Awards ceremony on August 12th, 2016. Taylor’s University Vice Chancellor & President, Professor Michael Driscoll (center, with the award) said that this honour through Putra Brand Awards, a brand valuation award measured by consumer preferences, was indeed an indication that the teaching and learning approach in place at Taylor’s University is one that resonates with many Malaysians.
“I would like to credit each and every Taylorian for taking the interests of our students as your motivation and ensuring that each of us provide only the best for all the young minds who walk through our doors. I hope that this accolade will spur us to continue to enrich the minds and lives of the youth of the world so that they could take their productive place as leaders in the global community,” said Professor Michael.
He also shared his gratitude to the respondents for voting for the institution and said that this recognition will spur the university to continuously innovate itself to remain a provider of quality education to the Malaysian youth.
All the finalists of this annual award were named through an impartial process that was participated in by 6,000 respondents nationwide, making it the largest consumer research sampling of its kind and the most prestigious consumer award in the country.
